Dirt / Off-Road Motorcycles

Offroad riding is very dynamic and physical. Riders rely on their vehicles to be designed well and operate properly.  In addition, riders need the skill and experience to manage the vehicle on various terrain skillfully and properly.

There are riders of all ages and skill levels. As each rider gets more experienced, they can move on to more challenging and varying terrain. Whether you are a new rider or a professional racer, operator error and products failures happen, leading to crashes and injury. William has an extensive background with dirt bikes and offroad vehicles. William can properly identify factors, conditions and evidence that caused or contributed to an incident or crash.

A recent offroad motorcycle crash case with disputed liability got to trial in Los Angeles and was settled in the hallway minutes before William was to take the stand for the Plaintiff.  After years of litigation the matter was resolved very favorably for the Plaintiff due to the experience and expertise brought to bear on the matter.

Side-by-Sides, ATVs, UTVs

Off-road enthusiasts will all agree that side-by-sides, ATVs and UTV are a ton of fun and can serve useful purposes. Unfortunately, they come with their own set of operator-created dangers and/or products failures and design flaws that can cause serious injuries.

The number of new owners/riders of these vehicles is on the rise and dealerships are selling more units. That goes hand in hand with an increase of vehicle accidents, collisions, roll-overs and failures. There are many factors that can contribute to such an incident.

Rollover, collisions, overloading, underestimating the terrain, and operating a vehicle under the influence are all common factors in operator error caused incidence. The extensive recalls on various models is evidence that products defects do exist and can lead to dangerous conditions that make if difficult or impossible for the driver to navigate safely.

William Nash has extensive experience with these vehicles and can help with determining causation or identifying products failures/defects.
